Experience
For a several months now, I’m working and contributing to Mozilla Web QA team. During that time, I have both created and runned automated test with a Selenium tool, as well as running manual Litmus test. I worked on many different projects, like Mozilla Add-ons Site(AMO), Mozilla Support Site(SUMO), Spread Firefox, and on a few smaller projects like Mozilla Community Site, Mozilla Service Week, Mozilla Creative Collective and Mozillians.org(still working on it). And, for my work on all these projects, I was awarded two times with a Friend of a Tree award.
Almost an year spent in localizing Mozilla web pages as well as Firefox support website and articles, provided me much experience and knowledge. Simultaneously working with other contributors and actual Mozilla employees, allowed me to realize the real importance of any support and teamwork. I’m Mozilla Firefox Support approver and locale leader for long enough to gain necessary leadership and communication skills.
While I was working at Nekretninenet, Real Estate Agency, my job was system and website administration. I developed several web applications, such as search engine optimizer, mailing lists, guestbooks, automated picture resizer and uploader, etc. As a main webmaster, I’ve started working on a browser support, primarily Firefox, as much of our users couldn’t take advantage of our website. While helping, I had a chance to learn much, and strengthen my knowledge. I was also developing simple php applications, testing best known CMS’es, working on a browser support and organizing few developers to work in a team.
